Reaching your goal safely with a net-zero roadmap
The Swiss Climate and Innovation Act (KlG), which came into force in 2025, stipulates that all companies in Switzerland must achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest. The KlG thus provides clear guidance for companies and also offers subsidies to help them tackle greenhouse gas emissions that are difficult to avoid.
The Swiss Climate team is registered with the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) for the development of net-zero roadmaps and will be happy to support you on your journey to net zero.
What Swiss Climate offers
Depending on your starting point, we create individual components or entire net-zero roadmaps and assist you in submitting your funding application. Net-zero roadmaps are detailed strategies that help companies reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050 at the latest.
These plans include, among other things:
- A carbon footprint: A comprehensive assessment of the company's current emissions.
- Reduction pathway with reduction targets: Specific targets for the gradual reduction of emissions in accordance with the KlG guidelines.
- Action plan: Detailed measures that must be implemented to achieve the reduction targets.
- Development pathway for negative emission technologies: Planning for offsetting the remaining emissions.
Additional services
- Quick check for climate target compliance: We review your existing climate strategy and show you the extent to which you already meet the requirements of Swiss legislation and where there is still room for improvement.
- Subsidy check: We help you identify climate measures and assess whether and under what conditions the measures are eligible for subsidies under the Climate Act.
- Gap analysis for net-zero roadmap: If your company already has a carbon footprint and other elements of a net-zero roadmap, we show you the specific gaps that still need to be closed to achieve a net-zero roadmap in accordance with the Climate Act.

The creation of net-zero roadmaps offers companies several advantages:
